This is Pušlar's second successful song on the music charts. In 2010 the singer received the award for most played Slovenian song with her track Slečeno srce (Undressed heart). But the story behind the success of To mi je všeč, which marked the year 2016, is much different from the story of Slečeno srce. The former has become an inevitable part of her concerts. 'I've noticed that everyone at my concerts knows Slečeno srce – everyone knows the lyrics to the song – but they don't sing it along to such an extent as they do with To mi je všeč. And To mi je všeč is also more melodious,' admitted the singer for MMC.

One Slovene retailer used To mi je všeč as a background in one of its commercials. 'I think this fact greatly contributed to the success of the song. People had the opportunity to hear it often. It was good for the song to be heard on radio stations, televisions and at concerts. It is true though that a number of other songs have also been used in commercials but did not enjoy such success. I attribute the success of the song to its nice packaging - from its very creation to when it was aired and its path in reaching audiences,' added Pušlar.

Second on this year's chart, compiled by the IPF Institute, was Slovenia's 2015 Eurovision entry Maraaya with the song Here for You. Ed Sheeran, one of the world's most popular musicians, came in third place with his song Photograph. The winner of this year's Melodies of the Sea and Sun festival, Srce za srce (ti), performed by Alya, placed fourth. There were six Slovenian songs in the top 20 of most played songs on the radio. In 2015 there were only two Slovenian songs among the top 20.
