One accident happened on the A1 highway from the coast towards Ljubljana. A driver crashed into another car with foreign licence plates, after which the car caught fire. One man burned to death.

The other fatal accident happened near Šenčur, when a speeding driver skidded off the road and hit a wall fence.

Yesterday runaway horses caused a couple of accidents on the A2 highway, in which 1 man and 4 horses lost their lives.
