Outgoing Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek said she wanted to unify the left. Her new party is called ‘Alliance of Alenka Bratušek’, and the party’s founding congress was held today. She called upon several left-leaning parties to join forces and run on a joint ticket at the next parliamentary election.

Jurist Miro Cerar wants to found another party. His new party’s maiden congress is scheduled for Monday.
