Cyclist lost his life on a regional road near Ajdovščina when his was hit by a car around 07:30 p.m. Despite receiving emergency aid, the cyclist succumbed to his injuries an hour later.

The second tragic accident happened around 04:30 a.m. in the outskirts of Ljubljana when a 39-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. The driver died on the spot. The police says the reason for the accident was speeding. Firefighters were called in to get the dead driver out of the vehicle.
