Forbes Magazine classified 300 of the best young creative innovators and daring entrepreneurs in Europe in ten categories. The Slovenian was named ambassador of technology as "with smart jewelry we are now able track the activities of our body".
The Bellabeat group, as a start-up company, recorded its first success back in 2012 when it launched the Fetal Doppler listening device and a smart phone App which enables pregnant women to listen to the heartbeats of their babies. The project was supported on Indiegogo with 11.820 thousand U.S. dollars. "They recognized us when we moved to the U.S. and gained the support of foreign investors, such as Y Combinator. Our work at Bellabeat isn't only focused on goals. Goals can quickly change. What we nurture is a will for research and a striving for innovations," is what Urška Sršen told MMC.
