The 23-year-old veterinary student from Zreč is responsible for Slovenia's best place in Miss Earth beauty pageant, which has been attended by Slovenia since 2007. Danijela has improved the ranking of Rebecca Kim Lekše from 2011, who was selected among the 16 most beautiful.

There were 86 girls competing for the Miss Earth title, which has an ecological note. The winner was a 23-year-old marketing student from Vietnam, who convinced the jury not only with her beauty but also with her strong environmental awareness.
