The guide will direct them to the most important historical points of Maribor.

As a part of the recent investment activities, Maribor - Pohorje Tourist Board in cooperation with the start-up company Foreach Solutions designed the first interactive tourist application informing about the city sights in the immediate vicinity of the location of the user.

The new mobile application Visit Maribor will guide tourist to the most important historical points of the city by the Drava river - from the oldest vine in the world, the square where the first electric bulb in this part of Europe was turned on, and underground on a tour of one of the largest and oldest wine cellars in Europe.

For each of the mentioned sights also less known facts and photographs from the past are included. Thus it is possible to explore the old city centre without a traditional tourist map, because the application includes the map with all the important points (as well as the information of the present location of the user).
