Someone had disabled the system of oil heating but the failure was quickly discovered, preventing more severe damage. The tensions among the employees of Teš, represented by the trade union, have been caused by an announcement that the company would re-locate their employees to worse paid positions. After talks between the union and the management of HSE, the situation seemed to have calmed down.

The Celje police have confirmed that they are investigating a suspicion of a criminal act of damaging public infrastructure in Blocks 4 and 6. HSE has estimated the economic cost of the sabotage in both blocks at 300 thousand euros.
