The bishop will be consecrated by the Apostolic Nuncio Juliusz Janusz, who will be the main bishop Sanctifier, while the Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Ljubljana and president of the Slovenian Bishops' Conference Andrej Glavan and apostolic administrator of the archdiocese of Maribor Stanislav Lipovšek will be the co-sanctifiers. The ceremony is to be attended by the top state and church officials. President of the Republic Borut Pahor and Prime Minister Miro Cerar announced their participation in the event while the President of the National Assembly Milan Brglez is also expected to attend.

Zore will, as Archbishop of Ljubljana's archdiocese, also become Chairman of the Ljubljana metropolis, which combines the dioceses of Ljubljana, Novo mesto and Koper.
