The Italian lyrist Zucchero after five years returned to Slovenia on the wings of his new album, Black Cat, which recently sold eleven consecutive concerts in the Verona Arena.

Ten days after the last concert in Verona, 341 kilometres from the "crime scene", the Italian blues master stepped on the stage in front of some 4,000 musical gourmets. The audience in Stožice was able to enjoy the show, such as are hardly available on monthly basis, for two hours and ten minutes; the acoustics was as it was.

The artist with a magical skill for combining passion and melody preserves authenticity of his performance also in this new string of concerts. Therefore, English was rarely spoken on the stage in Ljubljana (with the exception of his songs); he mostly addressed the audience in Italian: "I am convinced that music expresses passion regardless of the language," the 61-old artist had explained to MMC at an earlier occasion.
