A seven-member Slovenian family will embark on a journey through southern Africa, where it will deliver humanitarian aid and help build a shelter in Botswana. We talked to Jasna Žaler Culiberg and Miha Culiberg, who will be taking their five children with them on this journey through five African countries.
Slovenian activist Nika Kovač campaigns on many fronts. She is viewed as a leader of the new generation, as a leader of the future. Just recently, the US Obama Foundation announced that Nika Kovač, who is also running an NGO, the Institute 8th March, is among its fourth cohort of Obama scholars, one of 24 selected from around the world, and the only one from Europe. The program will give rising leaders who are already making a difference in their communities the opportunity to take their work to the next level.

A new law banning abortions in the US state of Texas is being celebrated by some and strongly opposed by others. Named the »Hearbeat Act«, it bans abortions from as early as six weeks into pregnancy. It restricts access to abortions after the detection a foetal heartbeat - at around six weeks - a point when many women do not even know they're pregnant.
