“The sculpture is modern and carries an upbeat message. Kids will love it, they can sit on it,” the president of the committee, Koželja, said. He added there is no date as to when the project will be finalised, but he said that the goal is to finalise it during Ljubljana’s tenure as European Green Capital, i.e. before the end of 2016.

According to the committee, the unusual shape of the sculpture made of sparkly metal is a great addition to Slovenska cesta, which reopened in 2015 after a complete makeover.
