Spotlight EU-Kohezija - faster entry of young into labour market The unemployment rate in Slovenia in general is low, however it is difficult for young people to get a job. The Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia has therefore published a public invitation called faster entry of young people into the labour market encouraging employers to employ young people for full-time.

World bee day will this year honor Anton Janša, a pioneer of modern apiculture. The Beekeepers' Association has been working hard to establish the International Anton Janša School to educate young people about the tradition of beekeeping. They have also been setting up educational beehives in Slovenian primary schools to teach children about beekeeping.
