While they say they are happy people are visiting, they urge mountaineers to book lodgings in advance or to return to the valley the same day if they can. Marking this year's 150th anniversary of the birth of Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik, Plečnik's city bus came to life in Ljubljana at the end of July. The bus in black disguise displaying Plečnik's portrait and his signature will be encouraging passengers to discover Plečnik's attractions near the stations of the otherwise regular city line for 150 days until mid December.
