The Earth's climate is changing at a rapid pace, top scientists have warned following the release of a new United Nations report looking into global emissions. The IPCC report also shows that Slovenia is warming twice as fast as the global average, so the projected climate change is the more worrying for Slovenia.

The long-awaited 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics were officially opened on Friday. Slovenia's flag at the opening ceremony was carried by table tennis player Bojan Tokič and canoeist Eva Terčelj. A Pentagon report says all but one of the 144 reports made about UFOs by US military pilots and the navy remain unexplained. The Pentagon does not rule out the possibility that the objects are extra-terrestrial, but has not found any links to alien life or foreign rivals.
